| | | Another Fly I'm still trying to get the hang of identifying flies using the online Intkey and it would be very helpful to have some definate IDs so that I can check my specimens again against the key. This one, which is about 5mm long, comes out as one of the Ulidiidae, except that I can't see any ptilinal suture even using the microscope ( assuming I know what I'm looking for !) so I presume this can't be right.
Thanks

| | | Re: Another Fly Thanks very much oxycera. The only problem is that I can't convince myself that there's any break in the costa. How reliable is this feature ?
