Hoverfly identification
I saw this hoverfly in a bog in north yorkshire, It was large 20mm + in length, could anyone help with identification?

Not a hoverfly but a Tabanus sp. horsefly I think!

It is a tabinus sp, Tabanus sudeticus.

I thought it probably was this species, but I'm no expert on these flies!
