| | | Larave ID please
Can anyone help me identify the larva/pupa above? Found a group fo 50 or so under the sofa and oak display cabinet. No holes from woodworm or other boring beetle evident.
They range in size from 4-12mm. from the opening end a caterpillar like creature partially emerges. No long legs or feelers visible. 2 black spots on top of the body just behind the eyes. Body is a dark cream colour.
All help appreciated. |

| | | Re: Larave ID please Thanks for the quick replies folks, all I need to do now is some research on how to get rid of the little visitors.
It certainly looks exactly like the CB moth.
Thanks again

| | | Re: Larave ID please Sofa is less than 6 months old and it's leather. looks like they were emerging from the carpet under the 1930s oak display cabinet. Since I sprayed RAID under there and the sofa there have been no more. Found 2 adult moths dead in the debris (ID from the photogallery or web). Will go back to counting birds now. Thanks for all your help folks. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
