| | | Re: Hawker id if poss It's a female Migrant Hawker. Southern Hawker has conspicuous yellow markings on thorax + colour on last 2 abdominal segments goes whole way across rather than 2 spots. |

I'm still a beginner at dragonflies, but I'd suggest female Migrant Hawker. There's a photo which looks similar on the British Dragonfly Society website, "UK Species" section.
