| | water walking harvestman? I've just returned from a lovely walk at Stover Country Park in Devon. I saw a strange water walking spider being mobbed by blue damselflies. It was one of the biggest spiders I've ever seen and had a large pale body and very long thin legs. I thought it might be a harvestman but I've not been able to find a reference to them being able to walk on water? It moved quickly over the top of the water and did not seem to be worried at all. Can anyone point me in the right direction to identification please? |

Your spider could be a Raft Spider, could also be something like a Water Measurer. Hard to be sure without pics though.
