The poor harvestman (An arachnidae sp. but not a spider  ) is a host to mites as you say. |

| | | Re: Mites or young?? The harvester is a female of either Phalangium opilio or Mitopus morio - personally I would need a better image of the front of the beast to tell, but someone more knowledgeable maybe able to separate the two without that.
As for the mites, these are parasitic nymphs of some mite species, probably a "Velvet Mite" ( Trombidium sp) - the adults are little hunters.
