Yesterday at Pulborough, we saw two Migrant Hawkers in good condition. Pretty late in the season but out and about in the sunshine. Anyone else seen any late dragons?
PS I've only ever seen Common Darters this late.

I don't know if it was mid-late October, but Southern Hawkers came out late last year in my area... and of course, common darters. |

Early to mid October is about as late as you see any round here. With Migrant hawkers and darters being the only species around. |

A few inactive Common Darters still around at Stony Stratford on my vist last Thursday (30/10).

An article in BBC wildlife says m,igrant hawkers can still be about and migranting north well into november - weather permitting I guess!  |

A couple of Common Darters down here at Fowlmead last week, sunning on a fence and an Adder under the tin sheet getting some radiant heat , Long Tailed Tits ( about 15 ) feeding down the tree line and a couple of Jays, lots of different fungi, but it is going quiet now,
