Any One Can Make a Mistake !!

Yesterday HiD said to me "I think we have a wee visitor because there's some droppings on the kitchen window sill"
Sure enough there were several of these....

They looked blacker than this enlargement and were very mouse like, so orf I jolly well went to perchase a couple of traps. These were duely baited with Cadburys' Dairy Milk chocolate and placed in strategic places for the night.

This morning several more "droppings" but nothing in the traps, however, this was curled up next to the pot containg the Basil.

In hindsight, we perhaps should have noticed that the "droppings" were only round the basil and on closer inspection, it was looking a bit tattered on some leaves.

p.s. Can anyone ID the cat ??

Suppose it was better than it being them little furry beasts anyway Ben.

Cheered me up and made me laugh a little, hurt me back when I laughed though.
