Noticed them at around 9pm as it started to get cooler. I was on Arran and on the beach and they kind of looked like half woodlouse/flea and half fly. They looked clear and could jump a great distance. They seemed to be feeding on the decomposing seaweed. Thousands of them jumping around and leaving very small indents on the sand.
