Dragonflies for ID
Taken today at my local clay pit in Dorset. I wondered what people thought on ID's? Thanks. Jane

I will second that, There won't be any Emperors around at this time of the year they are much earlier than Migrant Hawkers.

These two species are the hangers on. Great shots.

There were literally hundreds of dragonflies at the quarry. I've never seen so many. Quite a few very large ones. So large you could hear them before you saw them! Fascinating watching them hunt.
