disturbed something munching on this dragonfly. did not see what it was but this abdomen was still moving when i found it! can anyone tell me which species these remains belong to?

| | | Re: dragonfly lunch No nightshade did not see it. which i am quite gutted about, thought it may have been a hobby as the birds were spooked and i am sure there was a bird of prey of some sort around, you know how you get that feeling. kinda like a sixth sense! passed the gate it was on to take some pics of greylag geese 5 mins before coming back and it was not there then. oh well!
