| | Unidentified insects for ID Hello!
I spent the weekend in perhaps the only sunny spot in the UK, The Lizard in Cornwall. Fell flat when it came to bird photos, but came away with a few new insects.
Would've been more specific with the title if I were sure as to which type of insects these were. I've a bee, 2 unknowns, a grasshopper and a caterpillar for ID.
I've no idea on the ID of any of them, so any direction would be helpful, thanks in advance!! Caterpillar Grasshopper Buff-tailed bee? No idea No idea |

| | | Re: Unidentified insects for ID I think the bee is a faded White-tailed Bee, Bombus lucorum
I guess the last, a bee, is a Megachille sp.? |

| | | Re: Unidentified insects for ID I would tentatively suggest Ichneumon suspiciosus for No. 4. But the small print says that there are a few very similar versions. |

I think the variant in No. 4 is the most common?
