Identify Hedge Insects

Please can anyone identify these insects?
This fly(?) is on a blackberry, which should give you an idea of its size.

This is the same fly from a different angle:

This one is on a Buttercup petal, so very small:

Sorry about the quality of this photo, it was the only shot I could take. I think that it's an ichneumon fly, it is on a nettle leaf.

OK Steve ,
The first two pics are of a Noonday fly - Mesembrina meridiana,
It likes to hang about Umbelifors and blackberry bushes, it breeds in the dung of cattle,
Your fourth pic is I think an Ichneumon But I'm not sure which the pic isn't too good, but if you put Ichneumonidae up on the web you will be able to find out more,
