I dont know enough about insect families to start looking through the WAB A-Z as they are ordered by the latin names! So hope someone can help with IDing these two that I photographed near the pond on East Lomond ,Fife
Unidentified hoverfly on Devils Bit Scabacious 
(there are a couple of other photos of the same in the image library - i think ive linked the best one).
And Dragonfly
The only ID book I have with dragon/damselflies in only has a few of the commoner species in it...I dont think it is a common blue damselfly although it looks a bit similar.
