Lavae??
I saw this in the lawn today, it was being tormented by an ant so I removed the ant and let this creature "get away" lol. Does anyone know what it is? It had brown head, six legs, whitish body but black bottom and it is quite small.

Looks like a chafer grub. They are thought by many to be a garden pest - grass roots are eaten by them.
