I see from a Google search that it has only colonized the UK in recent years & I wondered if anyone knows how far north it has reached. (I'm in north Cumbria ).
I also see that it is said to favour sycamore but this was found in an area of felled conifer plantation.

| | | Re: Small bug for ID This is Lygus - always tricky and the only 100% reliable features are microscopic. I would suspect this is a strongly marked L. rugulipennis, probably a male
