Some bee pics
I spent a happy (and frustrating) afternoon in the garden in fairly breezy conditions usig my Sigma 150 macro and 30D on a monopod. These are the best bee pictures and are, I think, all of the same species. Looking at earlier pictures where I have received help with identification, this might be a carder bee - equally, it might well be something completely different!



Bit of luck here - it took off just as I pressed the button

Bombus terrestris or B. lucorum I suspect. Workers are effectively inseperable
