I found a Red ants nest yesterday and they had alot of eggs , didn't see any winged ants, do the reds have them ? |

To-day is very hot and humid and we are having another Flying Ant Day  
The sky was full of Gulls
( please excuse picture as camera is up the creek and so is my cropping abilities)  |

Those pictures are great. I saw large numbers of gulls in Bristol last month when there was a small eruption. Out of interest did you or anyone else video the last emergence? |

The garden ones didn't fly until 30th August - same time as some other populations in this area. I'm rather surprised that they're so out of sync - or are they different species? Need to examine a few, obviously  Quote:
