| | [ID] Tachinid and Andrena sp.? Hello WAB'ers, 
Which long-haired tachinid is this? One poss is Admontia blanda - about the only one I can find a match with. 
Also, this rather grey/black bee. Is it Andrena angustior, Andrena barbilabris, Andrena cineraria...
Any assistance on these will be very much appreciated!

| | | Re: [ID] Tachinid and Andrena sp.? The bee looks as though it might be a faded Megachile (Leaf-cutter bee) rather than an Andrena
In UK, we have some 65 species of Andrena, and although some fly in the summer, the majority (especially the larger ones) are spring flying species. |
