newbie needs help and advice please

HI, I asked for some advice with regards to carpet larvae yesterday, I have not had much luck in locating a "nest" although I have found individual ones in drawers , cupboards etc. will there definately be a "nest" somewhere? Ihave them on bed too , does carpet larvae go on the beds?

we had a wasp nest in the cavity of our bungalow last year which we paid someone to smoke them as we cant get to the actual nest. it cleared them but would it cause any insects to breed inside the cavity a year later? would they get through the walls?

Bought some stuff off the net protector c but dont know if we can use it on the mattress and base - does anyone know?

sorry so many questions , but I need to sort this problem out as i slept on sofa again last night

Carpet beetles don't have a nest, but the larvae feed on dead, dry organic material wherever they find it. However, an old wasps' nest may provide plenty of food, and I have seen nests with lots of carpet beetle larvae which feed on the dry dead wasps within

You need to check roof voids or anywhere that any suitable host site could be , These could be an old birds nest or even a dead bird in the attic. You need to treat everywhere they are found with a suitable insecticide.
