What to look for in the rain

We've got fairly heavy rain, and it isn't forecast to shift for a bit. So I suppose this won't be a great weekend for seeing bees and butterflies, though good for seeing slugs and worms. But is there anything else this would be a good time to look for?

Loook out for migrant birds- there have been a few Common and Green Sandpipers popping in this week.

Surely an obvious one would be to look for sheltered spots where dragonflies/damselfies may be laid up due to the inclement weather?
Easier to photograph them too in poor weather, although if its tipping it down its not worth risking killing your camera
