I've explained why in http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/fo...ladybirds.html - basically the national survey is no longer funded and anything sent to it has to be dealt with by voluntary workers and they are still trying to catch up with 2007 records and enquiries. I, on the other hand, am fairly up-to-date with my local surveys and anything sent to me will be passed on to the national database en masse ..... In fact, I'm generally happy to verify identifications and pass on records from anywhere - you may find it quicker to e-mail me! Quote:
