Wow - That tiny fly has amazing eyes! I would recommend giving the pic a second click to get the full resolution image as it really shows the eyes up well.

Most likely a Chrysotus - but that's an educated guess, not a definitive id. |

It is a Chrysotus; either C. blepharosceles or C. gramineus - I cannot remember at the moment which one has the yellow middle legs but black hind legs. |
