I recently put together a short 'A' Level course on the Heath Fritillary and it's Biodiversity to students. This was great fun both for me and my students as they learned a lot, especially from the 10 questionaire at the end!

This time there were at least 10 or 12 Heath Fritillaries on the wing and probably more as they were very mobile and seemed to be in every direction I was looking.
Some new photos including the beautiful underwing ....
