| | | Orange and black insect ID please I have found several small (9mm) long insects in the garden recently. Slim, 6-legged black body head and bodypartt with legs extending half way along, and the rest like a wide tail. The tail has an orange stripe down each side meeting just behind the "body section, and covered in bristles, 4 of them on the back being orange.
Can anyone give me an idea what this might be please?
Regards

What action should be taken with the bugs themselves as well as my bites. i have children in the house - and am eager to know if they could be at risk, should i keep them away from the furniture?
who should i inform of their presence and how do i get rid of them?!
Thanks for any help

I wonder if what you are seeing are Harlequin ladybird larvae? Apart from the number of legs (perhaps you missed a pair) the description sounds like them, they are common in many places + around at the moment. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
