| | | Re: Orange and black insect ID please Thanks I may have miscounted the legs. I have two spotted ladybirds here should I do anything fatal to reduce the Harlequins? I don't kill things but if they are destroying our native species? Liz |

Having said that, lots of 7 spots about this year it seems. |

| | | Re: Orange and black insect ID please Agree with Matt, there's little point killing them as what you'd do would make no overall impact. Recently I've seen more 7-spot + Harlequin larvae than I've had before in my garden + did find a 14-spot larva as well this week. |

| | | Re: Orange and black insect ID please doing our daily fly swatting in the conservatory cause of the number of flys that get in and noticed a thin, 6 legged insect that has a long thin tail section attached which is half orange and the black at the tip. any idea's what this could be? thanks |
