I have recently become infatuated by this illusive critter. I look in all the right places and only find Common blues. there are two piccys in our Gallery of the Adonis, but I would say they are the Common Blue. Looking on the net I see clear dark marks on the fringes of the Adonis but not here or on my own piccys.
HELP. please. I'm going mad

Nice site John. I am looking in the right location but as it says they have concentrated patches. I probably have not looked at the exact small area on a large park.

Lovely photos have looked in my book and the common and adonis look so much alike I cannot tell.Plenty of experts on here unlike me so you are bound to get some one who knows.Well done by the way  |

I would say Adonis Blue, Common Blue does look similar when photographed but they are easy to separate in life, Adonis is larger and no matter how pretty you think the Common Blue is the Adonis is simply stunning! | | | |
