Hi again, 
I was over at Fowlmead to-day, lots to see over there, Two Grey lags with 8 goslings in tow, Jays ,swifts , slow worms and a grass snake, Ringed Plovers , Blue tailed Damselflys , and this one which I have not seen before, Iv'e checked my books and because of the narrow pterostigma, downy hairs on the thorax, and the antehumeral stripes,
I reckon it's a male Hairy Dragonfly- Brachytron pratense,
(please let me get one right  )

Bah I cant seem to find one that hangs about for more than 2 seconds while flying above my head - did see a few downey emerald while looking thou! |

Nice shots of the hairy. It's the only one with that colouration that's on the wing at this time of the year. It's usually the first dragon of the season.
