| | | A good year for Holly Blues? The last two weeks have looked very good for the Holly Blue - they seem to everywhere this year - has anyone else noticed? |

| | | Re: A good year for Holly Blues? I agree that Holly Blue has also been abundant in the last couple of weeks in Kent. Only Orange Tip has been as abundant. |

| | | Re: A good year for Holly Blues? Lots of holly blue about where I am, I've had three or four at a time in my garden. Haven't seen any orange tips though, apart from a brief glimpse of one at Elmley a couple of weeks ago.

| | | Re: A good year for Holly Blues? Yes quite a few around here but the most abundant butterfly has been Speckled Woods |

| | | Re: A good year for Holly Blues? Have seen a couple in Sheffield so it must be a good year! Otherwise have only seen orange-tipped and small white.
In contrast holly blues in numbers in central and north London this week.
Any suggestions as to why?

Can't photograph them though they won't keep still. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
