Looks like a parasitoid wasp .Possibly Pimpla Hypochondriaca

It is an ichneumonid wasp, but not Pimpla.

Thanks to all for helping me get an ID of this insect.
Ok, here is a little bit more information from me to narrow things down.
The insect was only about 10mm long!
I think the "ichneumonid wasp” as suggested by Laurence maybe too large to fit the description.

Ladyhawk's "Lissonota setosa" does look to be the best match.
