| | | Re: Dolichovespula media? Yes... a Queen D. media. The Nike swoosh shoulder flashes are typical. There is more red on the thorax of D. media than any other social wasp except the Hornet. However, the abdomen is black and yellow in D. media rather than brown and orange (in the hornet) |
