Pembrokeshire insects in the last week
We saw 4 butterflies: small tortoiseshell, peacock, small skipper and small copper. A green tiger beetle and an oil beetle. Any comments?

Oil Beetles are a real western speciality, a few years since I've seen one-Scilly was a hotspot for my observations.

I think you may have made a misidentification over the Small Skipper as it's incredibly early for one- they normally appear in June onwards!
