Globular springtail - question about anatomy

I took this pic at Salcey Forest yesterday (10th April). I'm pretty sure it's Dicyrtoma fusca but would appreciate confirmation.

I wonder if anyone could confirm (or otherwise) that the tube seen coming from under the body is the collophore. If yes then any info on this particular piece of anatomy would be appreciated.

That would be the furcula ! ...

and the eyes are a collection of simple eyes rather than a compound eye.

Action_Man and Toby - Thanks for your help.

Action_Man - I did wonder if it might be the furcula but from drawings that I've seen I'd assumed the furcula would be held tightly against the underside of the abdomen (under tension).
