| | | Re: [ID] Woodlouse I've read that woodlice can be infected by an iridovirus that results in the build up of crystaline structures that in advanced stages produces a bright blue or purple colouring in the infected woodlouse. The condition is eventually fatal.
My guess is that this is what has caused the blue colouring in this unfortunate individual.
Interesting find.
