and we could be seeing these if the weather is relatively mild anyway. 
This Hairy dragonfly was photographed on the 30th April last year in Lincolnshire. The Hairy Dragonfly along with the Large Red Damselfly are usually the first to be seen.
Let's hope for a decent summer and many great photo opportunities

That's an excellent image Roger, I haven't seen one of those yet, let alone photographed one.
Let's hope they are out and about soon, we could do with some sunshine and Dragonflies.

They are found in Lincolnshire and I have seen them in Leicestershire - so why don't we get them in Notts??
