Trouble here is the 'nymphs' of so many insects are tough to find in field guides-adults fine.
I know from an entomologist friend that so many nymphs still remain a mystery.
I'd really like to know what this one is.

The larger aphids are this size - I find a few Large Willow Aphids measuring nearer 5mm. This is definitely an aphid and I have e mailed someone on an aphid watch website. |

It was beginning to bother me  .
Let us know when the 'aphid watch' folk do a formal identification.
