Hopefully we'll start to see a few more insects around now, I'm really looking forward to seeing some of the early spring species around, shouldn't be too long to wait especially if it keeps getting milder.

Where do I start?! Um... my first 22sp Ladybird for 2009 ( doing well in the garden lasy year, breeding; hopefully a good sign  ), an ant - Lasius niger ( second sighting of one this year), locally-distributed planthopper Hauptidia maroccana ( a first) and a springtail Heteromurus major possibly ( also a new one) Spring's arriving |
