| | | Re: Insect of the Day My first Migrant Hawker(a female) of the year today.Also many Wood Crickets plus large numbers of Purple Hairstreaks,one of which was on horse dung,and several of the Hairstreaks were drinking from water lillies on a pond. |

Also a crab spider ( so not really insect of day)- a white Misumena vatia sitting on a scabious flower on my back step. |
