Common Darter?
Now I think I know this one! Can anybody confirm it's a male Common Darter (Sympetrium striolatum) for me?

with that orangey red abdomen its got be I was bored of them by autumn last year - now I cant wait for my first one. thought I saw a dragonfly today before i realised it was a wren! to my credit I was an initial glimpse staring into the sun!

Look out for the yellow stripe down the legs too! There are a few other more subtle features too.
