Strange looking insect
Hello all, I have spotted a very odd looking insect on the wall at work. I have no pic atm but will get one if it is there tomorrow. It is an off-white cream colour roughly 3/4 to an inch long. It has a grey head but the odd thing is two long growths of approx the same proportions as its abdomen protruding from where its wings would be. the whole thing looks like a slightly squashed Y. Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?

Is it a plume moth? Do you know what sort of insect it is? beetle, wasp etc?

Hi I don't know what it is, looks a little like a large mosquito in shape
