| | | Bug education at United utilities. My 9yr old daughter recently went on a school visit to United utilities to learn how we get clean water. Also included in the session was a talk about the bugs that inhabit the water. Pond beetles, Mayfly nymphs, water fleas and Rat tailed maggots all featured and proved to be a big hit with the class, especially my daughter who looks for wildlife at every opportunity. It appeared to be a good day out, begining to think I should have tagged along.
