I think it is a Meadow Brown but I would wait for the experts. If I am wrong then I have labelled one of my photos incorrectly so it would be nice if an expert would let us both know. |

It's a Meadow Brown. The Gatekeeper has two spots in the ring, the Meadow Brown has one.  |

I had plenty of Gate Keeper's in my garden in the summer but was I was, unfortunatly, not quick enough with the camera to get a shot  |

Gatekeepers are generally more striking in colour as well, but it's not that obvious when you've got a single species on its own.  | | |
