Fly identification please

I need some help identifying a fly....how do I post the pic in this forum? I have uploaded it to the Gallery.....

Go back to the Gallery and bring your picture up. Below the picture is a panel starting and ending [img] .... click over the whole code and press Cntrl&C to copy the code. Open a message in this thread and press Cntrl&V to paste the code here.

It's a midge or mosquito (not necessarily a biting one), but I can't go any further from this picture. I'm pretty sure it's a female, too.
