Hawkers & Darters hanging on

1 Migrant Hawker in the New Forest this afternoon.

I saw 1 flying Common Darter in Richmond Park where I was leading a walk on Saturday.

Only other insects noted, on what was a cool, brisk day, was a sleepy Orange Ladybird, a slightly damaged Carabus nemoralis + couple of wasps.

Saw a C. Darter not long after we'd parted this morning Roger. Must have been a hardy fellow, 'cause, like you, I'd have thought this mornings frost would have "done" for any lingerers.
