| | | Beetle for ID I cannot ID this from searching on the web - my 16 month old was playing with it outside this morning.
The interesting thing was that it's defensive posture was to curl forward it's segmented abdomen similar to a scorpion.
It is approximately 1 inch from head to tail
Apologies about the picture quality, but it was pretty quick at getting out the way.
