| | | Pupa or poo ?
Find these little monoliths on the top of leaves every now and then- fairly permanent (survive wind and rain) about 5mm long and always at a slight angle. Anyone know for certain what they are ?- I suspect they might be insect poos but what would do that ?

Great image Lord V (as usuall  ) and the links prove it beyond doubt, how did you know something like that poschiavanus ?
On the subject of insect poo -
I put up some eggs for ID here in the spring and was shocked and embarrassed to find out my eggs were "Frass" at least I learned the name of insect poo  . |
