Ok i have looked through the Gallery and am still not 100% on the ID of this ladybird? could it be a cream spot or an orange? the thing that looks differnet on mine is it seems to have a clear visor across its eyes, none of the photos in the Gallery have this visor? (well none that i could see)

| | | Re: Cream spot ladybird or something else? That is the pronotum overlapping the head and, I think, just a matter that it has its head down chewing or searching for mildew! The yellow markings on the forebody are only seen on the orange ladybird Halyzia sedecimguttata. It should have sixteen spots - one of which, perhaps, is hidden at the tip of the elytron in this photo? Quote:
