did you id the last two as Chryospilus sp. by that black patch on the wings? (sorry forgotten the technical term!) Or am i being way to hopeful that you can get to genus that easily!

Well, thats part of it - I don't know if the dark wing patch is shared by all sp in the genus, however. These 2 Chrysopilus are the only ones I have seen, they are quite distinctive, resembling a small Snipe Fly (they are in the same family - Rhagionidae).
