| | | my catapilla (am I being crawl) I calt up a Catapilla yesterday that was crawling up our front door. I would like to creat a mini enviroment for it, and watch the processes of it's life. I currently have it in a little pot but have a 6 inch by 3 inch, mini pet tube, I currently have my baby African Land Smails In there but there moving in with there perents, so it free's it up.
Anyway am I being crawl wanting to do this, I willing to make it's home as natral as posable. I going on Holiday to cornwall, and will happily take it with me.
So if I not being mad what sort of enviroment should I give it??

| | | Re: my catapilla (am I being crawl) Should not be a problem to keep it at all. You will need to know species to feed it correct leaves but more likely it is looking to pupate if you found it crawling up your door. Most likely it will burrow into the earth in the bottom of your cage or cover itself to start this process. |

Do you have Nasturtiums or cabbages in the garden? |

I think I may also have a little one of these looper2 at least I think it is one of these, as is only like 2cm's long. I found this one yesterday, I just picked a leaf out in the carden and there it was.
I have them in the same pot at the moment will they need seperating.
