| | | Bedfords Park Dragon and damselflys Pt II There were lots of Dragonflys and damselflys about in Bedfords park again on wednesday.
This common darter
The male ruddy darter
This poor guy had a bent abdomen - perhaps and injury from mating or when its skin was hardening as it emerged?
he could striaghten it mostly thou
There were some mating pairs around. these blue tailed damsels:
and these common blues:
I saw this red eyed damselfly but not sure if its a small or not? 
I also noticed the grasshopper in its mouth after taking the photo!
